HOW WE DID IT

Comprehensive home renovation

This home renovation, located near the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville, NC, is a showcase of custom craftsmanship and modern design. The project centers on the meticulous implementation of hand-selected and hand-finished white oak cabinetry and millwork throughout the home. Key features include a stunning, minimalist fireplace, a sleek bar with hidden tambour doors, and a kitchen that blends functionality with high-end style. The renovation also incorporates cleverly concealed "hidden" closets and custom furniture, such as desks and vanities, creating a cohesive and sophisticated living space. The entire project highlights a commitment to detail, from the textured, hand-painted wood finishes to the intricate, custom-installed wall and ceiling wood strips, resulting in a unique residence that harmonizes with its natural surroundings while offering a truly modern feel.

  • This home was built near the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville NC, with a touch of modernity. My craftsmanship was implemented into the kitchen, fireplace, closets, bookshelves, office cabinets, computer desks, vanities, and lastly the elegant ceiling and wall with the wood strips. Each strip of wood was hand selected and hand finished then custom installed.
  • All the cabinets were made with white oak and hand painted for a grainy wood finish.
  • Another amazing feature of the home that I built was the bar doors. The doors have a tambora design. The tambora design allows the doors to slide and curve around the cabinet to open. This creates a seamless door design in which the doors basically disappear into the cabinet.
  • The upstairs closets are made to look like a wall until you touch the panel. After touching the door it pushes open and opens up to a large closet that is in the wall.
